Keep Fit During Winter

It has been a long summer so we have all had a lot of time to enjoy the great outdoors and keep fit. Even with the pandemic raging people were still able to go outside and go for a run. Now that it is colder we will need to confine ourselves indoors more. So the question is how do we keep fit during winter.

Fitness Mats Help You Train Longer

It is a scientifically proven fact (probably) that if you have Fitness Mats you will be able to train longer and harder with out sustaining injury. In fact having good fitness mats is the corner stone of any good fitness regime. If you look at all the great athlete and athletic teams you will see that they all have excellent facilities with top notch fitness mats.

Exercise Doesn’t Need to Be Daunting.

Sometimes people think that if you are going to keep fit that you have to take your body to the extreme. That could not be further from the truth. There are ways to stay fit and health whilst doing exercise without ruining your body. The best think to do it to moderate your train. Do what you can and build it up over time. Having Exercise Mats also helps a lot.

When it comes to exercise mats your do have options. You can always opt for our  Workout Mats which are a popular option. The good think about the workout mats is that you can hand them up when you are finished. That way you can get your workout mats out of the way when you are no using them.

A More Permanent Solution For Fitness Mats

A more permanent solutions to keep fit during winter is to get some Rubber Mats in your home or training area. Rubber mats are the kind that you lay on the floor and leave them there. They are relatively heavy so you would not want to be pulling up your rubber mats after every training session. Also they are the kind of mats that you would put heavy equipment on some that would make it even more unlikely that you would remove them.

Conor McGregor Exercice Mats

Conor McGregor To Fight Dustin Poirier in UFC

Conor McGregor has announce via Twitter hat he has accepted a  fight against Dustin Poirier. It is to take place on January 23rd at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The location of the fight is close to Poirier’s home territory which will make for an interesting fight. It is sure to be an interesting and competitive MMA fight to see.

Conor McGregor hasn’t fought in the UFC since his TKO victory over fellow MMA fighter Donald Cerrone. That fight was in January of this year. Conor was hoping to find himself on the mat three times this year but the Wuhan corona virus intervened. It put a halt to a lot of UFC fights. His so-called feud with Dana White hasn’t helped his cause either although the UFC would be keen to see him back in the ring. Despite his antics McGregor is still a major draw card for the UFC promotion.

Getting Back To Training

Now if will be up to McGregor to get back on the exercise mats and get himself fit for the fight. It is not easy fighting in the UFC with so many variables so it is important that he is in his peak fitness. One way to do that is to train hard. If he is to train hard then he needs to do whatever necessary to make sure he doesn’t get injured. One of the ways he can do that is by training on good quality exercise mats such as good jigsaw mat or tatami mats. It is what good athletes do and there is no question that McGregor is a great athlete.

UFC is The Premier Competition

The UFC is the premier MMA fighting organisation in the world. Many of the greatest fighters are signed to the UFC and can only fight exclusively with the organisations. Whilst there are other well known MMA organisations out there none has the same economic clout. It is a well know fact that UFC fighters use exercise mats during their training. If they use them then logic stands that all aspiring MMA fighters should be using them in their routines also. That is without question.

Exercise Mats For A Better World

Exercise Mats For A Better World

I watch two movies on Saturday, Revenge of the Sith, and War of The Worlds. As you know it is the Star Wars franchise where Anakin Skywalker become Darth Vader. The other is the movie starring Tom Cruise in the movie based on the Orson Welles story. The one where the aliens come down to Earth and try to destroy the world that we live in. In both movies it is a struggle between good and evil and we don’t know who will win until the bitter end. With WOTW it is the humans who inevitably prevail. In ROFS we seen Anakin transform in the evil and in the second last scene starting what will become the death star. In both film we realise we need Exercise Mats For A Better World.

These two movies got me thinking about how much better the world would be if every one, including Darth Vader, would just buy some exercise mats. They could work off that excess energy that makes them do so much bad. I reckon if Dark Vader had been a gym junkie he never would have turned to the dark side and in fact would have continued to be a good guy. With some good exercise mats he never would have gotten into the fight with Obi Wan Kenobi.  He would not have been render the cripple which gave what’s his name and the opportunity to turn him into Darth Vader in the first place. Indeed the “Empire” as they called themselves, never would have succeeded if the population had embraced a healthy lifestyle instead of fighting the Jedi.

Even Jaber the Hut would have been nicer person if they had just purchased some good exercise mats such as jigsaw mats. He could have got off his slimy fat butt and done some exercise. His scene when he is trying to eat Princess Leia is just dodgy to the extreme. I mean I am not saying it would have made it any different if he had been thinner but I can imaged that Leia would have been grossed out by the big fat slob. The civilisation in the Star Wars movies is meant to be advanced so some good gym mats would have been expected. That said I have never seen people working out in those movies.

In War of the Worlds it is pretty much similar. You have this advanced civilisation that is invading Earth. They managed to get their space ships here and land on the planet. Yet even though they are so advanced they failed to figure out that they might come and catch a cold and die here. The dam flu is what got then in the end? Again had they had themselves some good exercise mats and worked out a bit maybe their immune systems would have been stronger and they would have survived. I guess it is lucky they didn’t. Whatever!

Mats for exercise and cross training

Exercise & Cross Training

In this age of obesity and other ailments due to bad eating habits and inactivity it is more important than ever to exercise. What is exercise?

So what is exercise? Wikipedia defines exercise as; “Exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health and wellness.”[1] So in other world it is any activity that is design to keep your body fit and health. People usually to exercise for the express purpose of improving or maintaining their health. sometimes they also do it simple for the enjoyment. So they might play soccer, rugby or tennis for the fun of it but by extension be getting exercise.

Train Longer With Exercise Mats

What is important is that when they are doing exercise that they are taking actions to make sure that through exercising they are not actually hurting themselves. An example of this would be using exercise mats. With exercise mats you limit the impact that an activity has on your joints. The added benefit of using exercise mats is that you can train for longer and harder. There are other things that people can do like stretch before exercise. They can also use strapping to keep the joint tight. These are some of the many things people should consider whilst training.

Cross-Training For the Masses

Cross-training basically just refers to using a whole heap of training methods in your training. So instead of just doing one activity you might do a few different one. So you might mix lifting weights with skipping rope. Indeed you may mix four, five or even ten different exercises to make sure you get a full body work out. Cross training also requires a person to take measures to ensure that they are not going to get injured. Again they might want to consider exercise mats or some other kind of training mats such as jigsaw mats or gym mats.
